Meagan Good's maternal grandmother Tyra was just a teenager working at Panorama City as a manager as well as her father Leondis Leon Good, a policeman from LAPD. Her family consisted of three siblings within Canyon Country California, and made her debut in acting when she was just four years old. She also appeared in 2003 as she played Vanessa Scott in My Wife and Kids. She was as a character in D.E.B.S (2004), a comedy action film. The film earned her the nomination of Best Actress by the Black Movie Awards for 2005. Then she appeared in movies such as You Get Served The Cookout as well as Venom One Missed, call Waist Deep and The Love Guru. When she was active in 2012 she was also seen on T.V. as well as in film, she was the lead character Mya in the film series with multiple stars Think Like a Man and Ms. Stevens in Dysfunctional Friends. Killmer was born in Texas and attended Baylor University, Waco Texas. She received a degree from the performing arts. The year she graduated, Killmer received an award in performance art. She began her on-screen career in 2010 in the web series If I Can Dream. Kara Killmer debuted on screen after appearing in numerous local productions in Simon Fuller's series on Hulu If I Can Dream pilot in the year 2010. The show's focus was on an ensemble of actors who started to move in with each other in the city of Hollywood, California.
